CFUW: New Look. Same Mission

Hundreds of local young women have received scholarships, bursaries and awards from CFUW St. Catharines to further their post-secondary education. Our storied past (stretching back to 1921), emphasis on life-long learning, and inclusiveness are each represented in our new brand.

Launched by CFUW National this fall, we’re pleased to represent our goals, mission and vision with the new logo (an open book), tagline (Realizing Potential. For All Women.) and colours (representing diversity).

Beginning in October 2023, residents will see our new logo on our website, social media profiles and print materials. The rebranding effort will culminate with the 50th anniversary of our popular House and Garden Tour in Spring, 2024, which raises over $14,000 annually to fund student scholarships and donations to local agencies that support women and children.

Every year, our program of six to seven speakers includes presentations on matters of importance to our city and women’s issues.  Advocacy and social activism balance seriousness with the fun of spending time together and volunteering.

If you’re looking for a group to join to make new friends, advance equality, volunteer in the community, and fundraise for young women’s education, visit www.cfuwstcatharines.org  to learn more.

  • Connecting Niagara does just that. They put me in touch with key representatives in the area that understood what I was trying to achieve. Together we achieved so much more.
